As part of the growing network, UTS Nederland (project relocations) and UTS International (international relocations) were founded in the Netherlands. UTS International is based in The Hague, from where all relocations are coordinated. The operational teams are based across the Netherlands in the 12 UTS offices.

An overseas relocation consists of several components:

• Packing days
• Loading and transportation to port
• In case of groupage, there is a period designated to grouping the shipment
• Clearance and transportation to port
• Loading of container ship and departure to country of destination
• Sailing time
• Customs clearance of the shipment
• Unloading and placing at the unloading address
• In some cases, handyman services, assembly and unpacking

UTS International offers an all-risk insurance policy. We always recommend insuring your belongings.

UTS International does everything in its power to prevent damage. In the rare event of damage to your belongings, contact your UTS coordinator immediately. Take photos of the damaged items and send them as soon as possible for UTS International to assess your case.

Many clients leave towards the country of destination without a confirmed new residential address. Soon after arrival, they undergo orientation tours for housing purposes. Once you have found your new home, please inform us. As soon as customs clearance is finalized, your household goods will be delivered to you at your new address.

Yes, in most cases it is possible to bring your car with you. Different importing rules apply in each country. Discuss this with your UTS consultant during the appointment.

In most cases, you can take your pet with you on the airplane or in a separate flight. It is advisable to collect information and arrange this in advance. This can be done, for example, with Skyfast.

UTS International offers a variety of service packages. You can choose the option that best suits your situation:

• Full service including packing, unpacking, dismantling and assembly
• Handyman services
• Do-it-yourself removal: self packing and unpacking, dismantling and assembly

There is also an option where you partially pack your belongings, from personal items (some boxes) to all boxes. Discuss your preferences with our UTS consultant. We are happy to assist you.

Different regulations apply in each country. Our UTS team of consultants and coordinators are always updated with the latest requirements. Our UTS coordinator will walk you through all the necessary documents. Together with our relocation partner in the country of destination, UTS International will manage the customs formalities for you.
